The Brazilian lawyer and founding partner of the law firm Montgomery & Associados, pioneer of the Lean Full Service – LFS model and specialized in gaming law, sports betting and lotteries, Neil Montgomery, spoke yesterday (09/05) in Gibraltar on the development of legal framework for the sector and what to expect from the imminent provisional measure on sports betting.
The event was held in conjunction with local office Ramparts, as the launch of the new brand of the office’s online platform called Advennt, which provides industry information in nearly 40 jurisdictions.

The lecture had more than 30 people on site and dozens watching via videoconference.

In February of this year Neil participated in two panels at EGR Power Latam. He spoke with his Brazilian colleagues Witoldo Hendrich Jr., Thomas Carvalhaes (Vai deBob) and Camila Carvalho (Pay4Fun), on the panel: “Progress and politics in Brazil: the year that begins for the “sleeping giant”.
On the second day of the event, experts gathered for a legal masterclass focused specifically on Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Brazil entitled “Welcome and legal masterclass – highlight Colombia, Peru, Argentina and forward planning for Brazil”.
In it, speakers provided key updates and advice, as well as answering questions from the audience to ensure everyone left with the crucial legal guidance they needed to operate safely and successfully in our expanding regions.
EGR Power Latam was spoken in Spanish, English and Portuguese, with simultaneous translation on the first day.
