The second edition of the Bet Summit, which will take place at the BRB Mané Garrincha Arena in Brasília on July 8, will feature a special moment. It will be a celebration of the career of André Feldman – one of the most influential figures in the construction of the gaming and betting market in Brazil.
Feldman passed away in January 2025 in a tragic accident that also took the life of his wife, Juliana Feldman. His loss left a void in the industry, but also a legacy that lives on through his achievements and the ecosystem he helped create.
The president of the Brazilian Legal Gaming Institute (IJL), Magnho José, will lead the tribute.

Feldman was the founder and CEO of BIG Brazil and the official representative of the Caesars Group in Brazil. Over the last decade, he was one of the main people responsible for the development and professionalization of the sector in Brazil.
Its performance was fundamental on multiple fronts, from the regulation of the various types of betting to the organization of prestigious events, such as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Brazil, which it brought and consolidated in the country from 2016 onwards.
In addition, he provided strategic consultancy to four large international groups, helping to connect the Brazilian market to the main global players.
