Furthermore, the executive revealed his interest in acquiring businesses in Canada and Mexico. “We will have properties acquiring capabilities in Canada this year and later in Mexico. So, adding up, I think, we have direct acquisition in 51 different markets. Additionally, we are testing the omnichannel model. We had a lot of interested parties”, he commented.
Brazil’s new phase
According to Warren Tristram, Brazil is an important market for Nuvei and its customers. “I know our merchants and purchasing team have worked tirelessly to prepare for January 1st. Now, we can reap the benefits of the regulated market”, he reinforced.
He also highlighted that “having a regulated regime, with protection for real players, will generate wealth for the country through licensing. I think it’s a win-win situation for everyone.”
