“Player Protection is a fundamental objective shared by everyone associated with the Sustainable Gambling Zone. In other words, Sustainable Gambling Zone’s goal is to be at the forefront of initiatives to help develop healthy gambling from the beginning of the player’s journey,” he added.

“This includes incorporating safer gaming considerations from the outset, rather than just as a compliance requirement. So the goal is to create a more sustainable business in which players continue to enjoy their gaming entertainment experience.”

Clarion Gaming was the first event organizer to embrace responsible gaming when it introduced the ICE Consumer Protection Zone seven years ago. In this way, it established itself as a model for other events to follow.

Thus, with a total of 26 responsible betting bodies, including the Spanish organizations ASENCAS and FEJAR, the SGZ is receiving actions focused on educational content dedicated to consumer protection and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance).
