This week, Barcelona is hosting the largest iGaming event in the world, ICE 2025. This major event brings together professionals, clients and companies in the betting and lottery segment, such as Lottopar (Lotteries of the State of Paraná).
The entity’s CEO, Daniel Romanowski, and Operations Director, Fabio Veiga, met with Jesús Mariano Acevedo, president of the Buenos Aires City Lottery (LOTBA), and Sebastián Vivot, Modernization and Information Technology Manager.
The meeting was an important milestone for both institutions. Leaders discussed best practices and explored the possibility of a cooperative agreement. This could strengthen actions related to responsible gaming and integrity in sports betting, bringing new opportunities for growth and communication between them.
This meeting highlights Lottopar’s commitment to adopting effective global practices in the lottery sector. The organization seeks to collaborate internationally to develop safer standards and regulations, with positive social returns.
Lottopar visit to BMM Test Labs
The Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Romanowski, together with the Operations Director, Fabio Veiga, visited the renowned BMM Test Labs Spain. The objective was to better understand the processes that guarantee security and reliability in lottery games and betting.
This is because the laboratory is a global reference and is accredited by Lottopar to verify the integrity of the games. During this immersion, they explored how certification operations work.
Thus, the Lottopar team was received by the company’s directors: Francesco Bianchi, VP of Government Relations and Compliance; Jasna Drnda Radovanovic, Director of Licensing and Regulation; and Juliano Campelo Prestes, Licenses and Regulations Specialist.
Daniel Romanowski highlighted the importance of certifications: “We see that security and transparency are only ensured thanks to the work of these laboratories, thus being pioneers in Brazil in accrediting these institutions.”
The Director of Licensing and Regulation, Jasna Drnda Radovanovic, highlighted the relevance of this advance: “Paraná was a pioneer in accrediting laboratories, allowing others to adopt this model, contributing to a safer market.”
