SiGMA Europe marked the end of a cycle in the vision of Leonardo Brodsky, from PayBrokers. The event, held in Malta, was the last fair of the year on the company’s calendar and, according to Brodsky, symbolized the “closing of the pre-regulated market and preparation for the regulated market, which comes with many challenges”.
Commenting on the year that is coming to an end, the executive highlighted the necessary adaptations for all market participants due to the advancement of the regulation of sports betting and online gaming in Brazil.
“A stamp for the market of the robustness and transparency that PayBrokers brings to its services and to everything we do, such as the responsible gaming that we strongly support”, he assessed.
The year of the regulated Brazilian market
For 2025, Leonardo Brodsky projects a much safer market, in which regulation will help demystify the sector. “The year will be very positive for the professionalization of all players in the industry.”
Furthermore, he stressed the importance of the population understanding the positive aspects of the market, such as the direct and indirect generation of thousands of jobs.
