Malta was the center of the global gaming industry this week, during SiGMA Europe 2024. The co-founder of BiS SiGMA Américas, the main event in the betting segment in Latin America, Alessandro Valente, highlighted the importance of the meetings promoted by the SiGMA Group in different parts of the world.
“Ten years of SiGMA. I was at the beginning, in 2015, at their second event, and followed all the growth. This growth extended to BiS, as the group acquired part of our event in Brazil, which was renamed BiS SiGMA Américas”, he explained.
According to Valente, the event in Malta provided an incredible environment, with professionals of great relevance and global reach.

When asked about the next edition of BiS, he highlighted that the event was initially designed to focus on the Brazilian market, but now covers all of Latin America. “It was just supposed to be Brazil, but it already has a connotation of Latin America. For 2025, the event will have a global reach.”
The event is scheduled to take place from April 7th to 10th. “It will be unmissable, post-regulation, everyone licensed. It will be time to start the next topics and I’ll give you a spoiler: land-based casino and all legal gambling”, he concluded.
