The SBC Summit Latinoamérica 2024 is taking place until Thursday (31), at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in Miami, United States. This is one of the main events for the iGaming and sports betting sectors in Latin America.
Around 4,000 executives from more than 20 countries are expected to participate, including important representatives of the Brazilian market.
EstrelaBet stood out among bookmakers, with CBO Fellipe Fraga moderating a panel on the future of commercial partnerships in Latin American football. Fraga stated: “Latin American football is gaining more and more visibility, reaching global markets.”
“The Copa América in the USA is an example of this, something unthinkable just a few years ago. This opens up new possibilities for clubs, athletes, sponsors and partners. Strategic partnerships will be fundamental to boost the growth of both clubs and brands, expanding their presence beyond of regional borders”, he added.
Galera.bet, another big Brazilian bet, is also present at the event. The CEO, Marcos Sabiá, highlighted the importance of the meeting: “In Brazil, we live in a complex scenario, with a long period of time since the legalization of the sector in 2018 and, only now, it is being regulated.”
“At this fair it will be possible to see how industry executives are perceiving regulation in Brazil as a divider for the sector”, said Sabiá.
