The iGaming world continues to talk about Brazilian regulation. This was the perception of André Alves, from Control F5, during the SBC Summit Lisboa. “The big thermometer is to see that the international market continues to talk about regulation. This is the balance that remains”, he stated.
“Abroad, people still ask how the regulatory project is going. I say that the project is already over, the regulation is already a reality”, he added.
André Alves highlighted that many international operators have doubts and “are lost in relation to regulations. They need people in Brazil and, therefore, we see this flood of Brazilians at events”.
Control F5 preparation
According to him, Control F5 spent the last six months studying the legislation in depth to understand what the difficulties would be.
“We brought solutions to these difficulties with a gambling prevention system, KYC with redundancy, cybersecurity, all services that are focused on mandatory regulation.”
“Everything is working, it is operational for several of our customers. The obligations did not all come on October 1st, but they will come on January 1st, 2025. So, we bring services focused on our new slogan: we are the solutions hub for operators in Brazil”, he added.
