Clarion Gaming is building an infrastructure of new and expanded features to enhance the experience of the more than 55,000 visitors expected at the January editions of ICE and iGB Affiliate, the first to be held in Barcelona.

Clarion Gaming sees ICE’s success linked to support from the betting sector

Making the most of the additional space at Barcelona’s Gran Via Fira, Clarion Gaming has confirmed the creation of the first Global Media City, as well as a headquarters dedicated to the sector’s main trade associations and strategic bodies.

Announcing feature details, Managing Director, Stuart Hunter, said: “ICE is the world’s most influential gambling technology show and, together with an exhibitor line-up that includes the best gaming creators and innovators.

“Therefore, we are creating an infrastructure of resources and facilities to meet the business needs of what will be the largest gathering of professionals in the online gambling industry on record.”

“ICE’s success is largely due to media support from the online gambling sector. I am delighted that Global Media City provides a platform for this important part of the ICE community. It will be an opportunity for the sector to have access to journalists and editors”, added Hunter.

Furthermore, Hunter stated that the event brought together the most influential players in the industry. “Each year, ICE welcomes the most influential trade associations and strategic bodies in the sector. The event is so important that many use the fair to make announcements and, in the process, help shape the future of their business.”

Space dedicated to company networking

“But although most of these activities take place outside the fair, at ICE 2025 there will also be a dedicated space for networking. Thus, in this space, industry operators will be able to come together, promote their values and create new opportunities for the gaming community.”

“An important part of the justification for the move to Barcelona’s Gran Via Fira was the opportunity it offered to expand the offering. Therefore, Global Media City and Association Assembly are the first two additions to the fair experience that we are pleased to confirm.”

The January editions of ICE and iGB Affiliate will occupy 120,000 square meters of space, compared to 100,000 square meters for ICE 2024. In a major endorsement of the opportunities offered by the move to Barcelona, 72% of the top 25 exhibitors will have a larger presence on the stands at ICE 2025.
