SBC Summit Barcelona to host 'Global Gaming Leaders' track

SBC Summit Barcelona will offer 15,000 attendees the opportunity to hear in-depth analysis of established and emerging global markets from international experts, during the ‘Global Gaming Leaders‘ track.

Held at Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc, the dedicated trail will kick off on Thursday 21st September, the second main day of the global betting and iGaming event.

Attendees will have the chance to gain new perspectives from global leaders as they explore pressing issues related to global markets, technology implementation and responsible leadership.

Panel discussions will include the crucial role of technology solutions in gaining competitive advantage for brands, the potential of iGaming in US markets and innovative strategies in regions such as Latin America, UK, Japan, India and more!

Panel – ‘Latin America – Navigating Changing Political Sands – Where Is the Opportunity Now?’

The panel will discuss the optimistic regulatory developments in the region and how leaders are strategically capitalizing on them.

Speakers: José Duarte (CEO, Betcris), Gonzalo Pérez (CEO, Apuesta Total), Ramiro Atucha (CEO, Vibra Gaming) and Lívia Troise (CEO, Betmais).

They will explore whether Argentina‘s success in face-to-face gaming will influence Brazilian regulations and discuss the role of traditional betting in supporting player engagement and regulation.

Panel – ‘Eastern Europe – Europe’s Next Big Opportunity?’

The panel will explore the plethora of emerging opportunities in Eastern Europe as markets rapidly mature.

Speakers: George Athanasopoulos (CEO, Novibet), George Mamulaishvili (Head of Administration, Georgian Betting Association), Darko Živanov (CEO, MaxBet Group), Radim Haluza (CEO, Entain CEE) and panel moderator Dario Jurčić (CEO, NSoft).

This panel will focus on the complexities international operators face when entering the region and how they inevitably succeed despite restrictive regulation, technology and political agendas.
