BiS SiGMA Americas – the biggest betting event in Latin America – took place between the 14th and 18th of June and consolidated itself as a great success in the Brazilian betting sector. The conference was fully covered by iGaming Brazil, who had the opportunity to speak with Peter Nolte, Founder of Salsa Technology.
“For Salsa it’s been incredible. This event has really surprised me, Salsa and all the participants,” Nolte said of BiS SiGMA Americas. “This has become, in my eyes, the second biggest event in the world!”
Peter also spoke about the company’s vision for regulating the Brazilian market. “Salsa was born believing in regulation, and we believe this is happening [in Brazil]”.
“We noticed the evolution of players, mainly with sports betting… This must be the second largest in the world, that’s why there is the importance of the regulatory Brazilian market”, added the founder of Salsa.
When asked about the company’s plans for the Brazilian market, Peter highlighted the investment in new games for the country: “We are investing in a new studio this year to develop games specifically for the Brazilian market”.
In addition, Peter said that big news is coming and that the Brazilian player will have even more opportunities to entertain himself with bets.
