EstrelaBet, master sponsor of the Brazilian Futsal Team since 2022, carried out a significant action last Friday (23) in the Tavares Bastos Community, located in the Catete neighborhood, in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro.

This action is part of the company’s project that aims to promote fan engagement with the team, especially with the Futsal World Cup approaching. The competition will be held in Uzbekistan, between September 14th and October 6th this year.

The event highlighted the presence of players called up for the World Cup, who interacted directly with community residents. The program started early and lasted until the end of the afternoon, including several activities aimed at young people participating in local social projects.

EstrelaBet’s initiative

One of the most memorable moments was the joint training between the national team players and the young players. Later followed by photo shoots, autographs and FreeStyle Football clinics. Furthermore, the community was able to participate in award-winning challenges and follow the attendance of the press present.

EstrelaBet’s initiative went beyond the sporting event, leaving an important legacy for the community. Thus, the company completely financed the revitalization of the Tavares Bastos Sports Court, where the activities took place.

This gesture not only provided a renewed space for sports, but also symbolized EstrelaBet’s commitment to rekindling the passion for futsal in the community.

Leandro Figueiredo, Head of Sponsorships at EstrelaBet, highlighted the importance of the action: “We always seek to be close to the Brazilian team. It is an initiative that aims to create a connection between fans and athletes, thinking about the World Cup.

In addition to the interaction actions, we left a new, completely remodeled sports court for residents. It’s a way of rekindling the passion for futsal and also enabling more people to play it in the community.”

Brazil, the biggest winner in the history of the FIFA Futsal World Cups, has not won a world title since 2012. With the lead in the world rankings, the team is one of the favorites for the upcoming competition, and events like the one held in the Community Tavares Bastos reinforces the connection between the team and its fans.
