The Premier League announced a significant partnership with Sports Interactive, producer of Football Manager, last Monday (10). Thus, the agreement will guarantee the company the licensing of the English first division for four years.
Premier League will have even more prominence in the game
So, from the 2024/25 season onwards, all versions of the platform will feature official logos, kits and player photos. A big win for fans of the game.
Miles Jacobson, Studio Director at Sports Interactive, expressed his pleasure with the partnership. “We have always wanted to work with the Premier League. We are very happy to announce that we are finally working.”
Jacobson highlighted that the partnership goes beyond in-game benefits. He mentioned the opportunity to contribute to the Premier League’s community and charitable work, something Sports Interactive is extremely passionate about.
Will Brass, Premier League Commercial Director, also commented on the cooperation. He said: “Football Manager has been a big part of the sporting landscape for decades. So we’re excited that the Premier League will now play an even more prominent role in the game.”
This partnership between the Premier League and Sports Interactive could bring several benefits to both Football Manager fans and teams. Players will have a more authentic and immersive experience, with the game full of official logos, kits and photos of Premier League players.
This means fans will be able to manage their favorite Premier League clubs in a more realistic way.
