EA Sports has officially announced the exciting dispute of eLibertadores 2024, the South American EA SPORTS FC 24 championship.

This tournament, in partnership with Conmebol, has been a success over the last three years and continues to be a highlight in the world of electronic games.

In addition to confirming the tournament, the Canadian developer also revealed the opening date for registration for this long-awaited event.

Registration for eLibertadores 2024 opens on November 7th

Players and fans in South America can mark November 7th when registration for eLibertadores 2024 opens.

This comes three days after the Libertadores final on November 4th at Maracanã, where Fluminense will face Boca Juniors at 5pm, allowing eSports enthusiasts to guarantee their participation.

Brazil and sovereignty eLibertadores

Brazil won the eLibertadores title for three consecutive years, reinforcing its position as a powerhouse in virtual football.

Since FIFA 21, the competition has seen notable champions such as Pedro Resende in 2021, Paulo Henrique ‘PHzin’ in 2022 and Gabriel ‘Baxada’ last year.

Expectations for the 2024 edition are growing, with the dates of the next tournament not yet confirmed by EA Sports and Conmebol.

EA Sports and Conmebol renewed partnership

In addition to this exciting news about eLibertadores 2024, in June this year, EA Sports announced the renewal of the licensing agreement with Conmebol.

This will allow the game to obtain the rights to the shields and uniforms of all clubs in competitions organized by the South American entity.

Libertadores Feminina was already part of this new agreement and was sponsored by the game developer.

The competition – dominated by Brazilian teams in recent years – had an exciting decision with a historic rivalry: Palmeiras and Corinthians.

Corinthians won 1-0 and lifted the women’s cup for the fourth time.
