This Tuesday (28), the eSports organization Team Liquid announced a new partnership with the Unikrn bookmaker. The platform, which started its activities in Brazil at the end of 2022, has the same operator as the SportingBet portal and offers sections dedicated to betting on eSports and electronic gaming competitions.
In addition, users who register on the platform will have the opportunity to bet against Team Liquid influencers such as Haru and FRTTT, and will also receive some benefits and advantages to be used on the platform.
In order to have the opportunity to interact with the team’s content creators and pro-players, users of the betting platform will be able to access some in-game activations that will grant bonuses to be redeemed directly on the platform.
Users will also be able to track their progress via Unikrn’s online leaderboard, which updates in real-time. Those at the top of the rankings will have the opportunity to go live alongside selected influencers.
Justin Dellario, CEO of Unikrn, stated that the partnership aims to bring the esports community and talent closer together through a new betting experience.
“We look forward to celebrating our recent launch in Brazil, bringing some of the world’s biggest fans an experience that allows them to bet and interact with their favorite professional players,” said Dellario.
One of the main features of the platform is that the player will also be able to bet on himself. By connecting your game account with the Unikrn website, the user will be able to bet on their ranked matches or on 1v1 matches with anyone.
Team Liquid also announced that it will hold an in-person event in April to celebrate the start of the partnership. Still without a defined date, the event will take place in São Paulo and will count on the presence of the influencers Haru, FRTTTT and ziG, for a photo session and autographs with the fans.
