Semper Fortis Esports announced that Harry Maguire of Manchester United has been appointed as a brand ambassador at the company.
The remuneration to Maguire will be paid in the form of “warrants” that give him the right to subscribe for common shares of the company at an IPO strike price of 1 cent per share. Five-year warrants cannot be exercised in the first twelve-month period after they are issued.
As part of Semper Fortis Esports, brand ambassadors will interact with audiences online through digital platforms and bring their wealth of experience in traditional sports to an eSports organization.
Harry Maguire said, “When I’m not on the field and training, one of my favorite ways to relax is to play online against teammates and friends. It’s been a great way to pass the time, particularly in quieter times.”
