Esports Technologies signs patent license agreement with bookmaker Colossus Bets

Electronic sports betting services brand Esports Technologies has announced an exclusive partnership with British bookmaker Colossus Bets. The agreement grants Esports Technologies a license for most of Colossus’ patent portfolio for eSports applications.

Bart Barden, chief operating officer of Esports Technologies, said in a statement: “We believe that our alliance with Colossus will usher in the arrival of the industry’s leading withdrawal technology, both in free-to-play and real money formats in one platform, helping us to grow to become a broader e-sports offering.

Barden added: “The exclusive patent license reinforces our offerings with strong IP protection and personalization, resulting in a powerful package that covers data, technology and products, especially in the context of our North American business ambitions. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Colossus to provide our customers with the best possible experiences on our platforms ”.

According to the official statement, the deal will allow Esports Technologies to improve their withdrawal experience for all products. The ad is in line with its strategy of “providing the most advanced product, platform and marketing solutions for e-sports betting”, based on its online gaming platform in the Asia-Pacific region.

Eva Karagianni-Goel, COO at Colossus, commented: “We are excited to join forces with Esports Technologies to unlock the value of our patents to the eSports audience. Its IP-based approach mirrors ours and presents us with an exciting opportunity to combine our know-how with what is probably the most forward-looking content area, eSports “.

Karagianni-Goel added: “By uniting our two technologies, we believe that we are able to create truly better experiences for gamblers, and we hope to continue with our alliance”.

About Esports Technologies

Esports Technologies also recently announced a partnership with NBA star Jordan Clarkson, whose primary role as ambassador for the company is to increase brand awareness on social platforms through content, appearances and live streams.

Founded in 2020, the company is a relatively new player in the market, but its partnerships are very well calculated. It will be interesting to see how this new deal will help the company with its goal of providing ‘the most advanced sports betting product’.
