Formula 1 driver Lando Norris announced the creation of his own eSports team, called Quadrant. He released the news in a live broadcast on the Twitch platform last Friday, 7.
According to the pilot, his team will compete in traditional and less conventional modalities as well, in addition to focusing on content creation. In addition to the McLaren driver himself, the electronic sports team will feature streamers Steve Alvarez Brown, Aarav, Niran Yesufu and Maria Bish.
The tendency is for Norris’ team to focus on championships with racing simulators, but he also wants to increase the team’s participation in other sports over time.
“We started out reasonably small, but with the dream of expanding and becoming a much bigger team in all eSports and not just in races,” said the driver.

Norris also stated that the other components of Quadrant will be presented in the coming months. In the first moment of social isolation in the United Kingdom, Lando Norris made several transmissions and, in parallel, started the project of his eSports team.
“I am very excited to introduce Quadrant to the world. I’ve been working on it a lot behind the scenes for a while now and it’s a great feeling to finally have everything in place. I am a player at heart, but I also want to get close to my fans. I always wanted to build my own brand, so this is a great way to combine it all while having fun with some of my good friends, ”said Lando Norris.
The project also had the coordination of Veloce Esports and ADD Management – Norris management company. Mark Berryman, ADD representative, said: “We are pleased to be able to launch this new company alongside Lando and continue to help him achieve all his goals, both in Formula 1 and outside the paddock.”
