Grupo Esportes da Sorte, master sponsor of Corinthians, achieved another important achievement. Last Wednesday night (22), the company joined the select group of operators authorized to explore online betting in Brazil.

This type of bet allows the player to know, at the time of making a guess, how much he could win, based on previously defined odds. The license was issued by the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA/MF), consolidating the brand’s presence in the national market.

The authorization, which is valid for five years, covers the group’s two companies: Esportes da Sorte and Onabet. This strategic movement guarantees the organization the right to act legally, respecting all current regulations.

Legal and judicial process marks the achievement of the license

Grupo Esportes da Sorte secured the concession after complying with all legal requirements required by Brazilian legislation. Initially, SPA/MF had denied the request, but a court decision reversed the case, considering the administrative denial illegal.

On January 13th, the group paid in full for the concession grant. This step was crucial to begin the transition of the brands’ websites to their new domains. Now, the platforms operate under the standards required by the Brazilian regulated market.

Impact on the Corinthians and Esportes da Sorte partnership

The approval reassures Corinthians, which has Esportes da Sorte as its main sponsor. The partnership represents an important source of revenue for the club, guaranteeing R$309 million over three years.

Furthermore, the brand’s visibility in one of the biggest clubs in Brazil strengthens its position in the sports betting market. The brand is printed on the main space of the São Paulo club’s uniform.
