The sportsbook Esportes da Sorte is the new master sponsor of Corinthians, taking over the most important space on the football team’s shirt.
The company arrives to take the place left by VaideBet almost two months ago, after the unilateral termination of the contract. The negotiations took place in recent weeks, with the participation of President Augusto Melo.
Details of the agreement between Corinthians and Esportes da Sorte
The contract with Esportes da Sorte will involve a fixed amount of 75 million reais to Corinthians, which could reach almost 100 million reais per year if specific marketing and sporting performance goals are achieved.
The agreement will be valid until December 2026, totaling R$310 million. The tendency is for Timão to formalize the partnership soon, right after signing the contract.
It is worth noting that Esporte da Sorte outperformed competition from other bookmakers, such as Parimatch (current partner of Botafogo). However, Corinthians’ new sponsor has its brand printed on the uniform of Palestrinas, Palmeiras’ women’s football team.
Without a master sponsor, Timão used the space on the shirt in the game against Bahia to create expectations for the deal. The players wore uniforms with the following phrases: “It’s fans”, “It’s believing”, “It’s fighting” and “It’s much more than a team”, references to the new sponsor’s slogan – “It’s much more than betting”.
The company also took advantage of the repercussion on social media to boost its engagement among Corinthians fans.
Situation in Brasileirão
Thus, Corinthians’ next match will be against Grêmio, this Thursday (25), at the Neo Química Arena.
Since the arrival of coach Ramón Diaz, the team has achieved two consecutive victories and gained momentum in the Brazilian Championship leaderboard. This is because Timão is in 14th place, after spending a few rounds in the relegation zone.
