Corinthians has been without a master sponsor for almost two months, since VaideBet terminated the contract. The termination was motivated by the activation of an anti-corruption clause following controversies involving payments to a shell company. However, the wait for a new partner is close to ending at Parque São Jorge.

Sources close to the Corinthians board revealed to the Central do Timão portal that the bookmaker Esportes da Sorte is very close to becoming the club’s new master sponsor.

The company is one of the five largest in the country and has been talking to the club in recent weeks, being the only one to meet all of Timão’s demands so far.

Negotiations between Corinthians and Esportes da Sorte

According to sources, the contract should be signed by the end of 2026, with a total value of R$310 million. Payments will be monthly, distributed as follows:

  • 2024: R$90 million
  • 2025: R$110 million
  • 2026: R$110 million

The absence of a master sponsor has been disrupting Corinthians’ cash flow. Therefore, the announcement of a new partner is President Augusto Melo‘s highest priority. Completing these negotiations is vital for the club’s financial stability in the coming years.

Currently, Corinthians is in the Brasileirão relegation zone with just 12 points from 16 games played. The team is in 17th place, accumulating just 25% success.
