7K and Santos held a unique experience on Valentine’s Day: a dinner on the Vila Belmiro lawn for a couple of fans who met in the stadium’s stands.
Rafael and Lariane first crossed paths in 2013, shortly after Neymar’s farewell game. Interestingly, Rafael didn’t go to the game, but Lariane was there with friends and mingled with his friends.
Fate brought them together a few days later, during the match between Santos and Coritiba in the Brasileirão. Lariane met up with the group of acquaintances from the previous game, and it was at this meeting that she and Rafael finally met.
At the end of the match, a chance meeting at a pizzeria sealed the couple’s fate. Twelve years have passed since that day, eight of them married, and now they have two young Santos fans to increase the Peixão fan base.

On the day of the action, the two arrived at 4 pm and took a guided tour of the Memorial das Conquistas, the locker room and other areas of the Urbano Caldeira Stadium.
The visit included a special meeting with Edu’s eternal idol, Jonas Eduardo Américo, who played for Peixe between 1966 and 1976. It was the star player who was responsible for presenting the couple with two official Peixe shirts directly in the stadium’s locker room.
After the meeting, Rafael and Lariane had a little of what the players felt like, they put on their shirts, got ready and went up the access ramp to the pitch, just like what happens on match days.
In the center of the field there was not a ball, but a dining table, glasses and plates carefully set for an intimate dinner and a very lucky one for the favorite team. At the time of the toast, the stadium’s big screen broadcast photos and declarations of the couple to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
To top it off, they watched the match between Fortaleza and Santos, in the 12th round of the Brazilian Championship. The couple was lucky and saw Peixe win 3-2.
According to Lariane, “it was truly an unforgettable day, all the surprise and affection that the club had in treating ordinary fans like us was spectacular”.
While Rafael stated that he is still recovering: “I still can’t believe that last night happened, it was indescribable, our life is very linked to Santos and we are always at the games, it is an honor and we want to thank 7K and the club for this unique moment”.
