In the Club World Cup, Europeans are favorites; Brazilians are outsiders in the odds


The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, now with a new format, will bring together 32 teams and will be played between June 14 and July 13 in the United States. The competition will feature 11 European clubs and four Brazilian representatives.

The tournament will be divided into eight groups, with the top two from each group advancing to the knockout stage. The first round will be this Saturday, with Al Ahly vs Inter Miami.

Bookmakers’ favourites for the Club World Cup

According to betting platforms such as GaleraBet, EstrelaBet, 7K, Vera, Cassino and Casa de Apostas, the favorites for the title are the last five Champions League champions:

  • Real Madrid
  • PSG
  • Manchester City
  • Bayern de Munique
  • Chelsea

No Brazilian club is among the main candidates. Flamengo and Palmeiras appear with similar odds, followed by Botafogo and Fluminense, which have even higher odds.

Brazil is the second country with the most titles in the history of the Club World Cup (10), behind only Spain, with 13. This edition marks the beginning of a four-year cycle of the tournament, which will take place every four years.
