Last Thursday (05), KTO and Heatmap carried out a special action together. KTO Minas, which is preparing for the final of the New Basketball Brazil (NBB) against Franca, held a training session open to the public at Praça da Assembleia, in the capital of Minas Gerais. The event was promoted by KTO, which is the master sponsor of the Minas Tênis Clube basketball team. In addition, it was planned and executed by the agency, which provided fans with unique experiences.
To make training possible in public spaces, Heatmap developed personalized visual communication and set up an exclusive court specially adapted for the occasion.
It was the first time that fans from Minas Gerais were able to closely follow the performance of KTO Minas players and enjoy other special activations. Highlights included musical performances and Live Paint, in which an artist performed a live intervention, illustrating a team player dunking. The work will be on display in future events.
KTO and Heatmap integrating team and audience
According to Rene Salviano, CEO of Heatmap, the action connected the audience with the team. “Our partnership with KTO has been built on trust, creativity and purpose.
This action, for example, was developed and delivered in just 72 hours, with our team always seeking to go beyond technical delivery, creating experiences that connect the brand to the public in an authentic way.
Being alongside KTO Minas at such a symbolic moment reinforces our commitment to projects that value sport and local culture,” he commented.
The partnership between KTO and Heatmap began about a year ago and has since been consolidating with creative actions and remarkable experiences for the public. Combining the power of the KTO brand with the agency’s expertise in sports activations, the collaboration has generated impact on and off the court.
“We believe in the power of sports as a tool for engaging and connecting with people. The partnership with Heatmap has been essential for us to bring this purpose to life in Brazil. Activations like this strengthen not only the brand’s presence, but also our role in the development of the national sports scene”, said Diego Regal, State Manager of KTO in Minas Gerais.
NBB Finalist
The Minas Gerais team has been reaping the rewards since the beginning of its successful partnership with KTO. A finalist in the NBB for the first time, the team will face Franca in a best-of-three series. The games are scheduled for June 12 and 14 in Belo Horizonte. KTO Minas ended the qualifying phase with the best performance in the competition.
