Superbet is moving forward with renewing its contract with São Paulo for another four seasons. With this, the bookmaker should guarantee its presence in the Tricolor Paulista until 2030.

“We signed a contract until 2030, celebrating the centenary of Tricolor Paulista. It is an honor to be by São Paulo’s side for so long, showing our long-term commitment. We are the first brand in Brazil to be involved in such a long-term sponsorship,” said Alex Fonseca, CEO of Superbet, in an interview with Games Magazine Brasil.

New agreement between São Paulo and Superbet will have financial adjustment

According to sports media, the value of the contract will have a good increase in its value. In 2024, replacing Sportsbet.io, the values practiced by the market were very different from the current ones.

The initial contract value with Superbet was around R$52 million per year for São Paulo. To give you an idea, today, the contracts with Flamengo (Pixbet), Palmeiras (Sportingbet) and Corinthians (Esportes da Sorte) exceed R$100 million per season.

These values were adjusted based on the regulation of the sector in Brazil, which will be in effect for the first year in 2025. According to São Paulo‘s marketing director, Eduardo Toni, the values of the renewal contract are based on a series of awards, which involve performance and classifications in the competitions played.

“The amount that is announced for São Paulo is much lower. If we add all the bonuses that the club is entitled to for its performances in the Brazilian Championship, Copa do Brasil, Libertadores and Campeonato Paulista, our amount is much higher,” Toni stressed.

Centennial Project

Now, with the possible renewal, Superbet will be the second brand present in the Tricolor Centennial project. The idea is that the project will significantly boost the brands linked to São Paulo. The first brand to close the partnership also aiming at the 100 years of Tricolor was Ademicon.
