Joinville Esporte Clube (JEC) announced the end of the agreement with its master sponsor for the 2025 season, Hope Gaming. According to the club’s official statement, the agreement would be to promote the Dupoc bookmaker.
Before closing the deal, the Santa Catarina team checked that the company was in compliance with current rules. However, on January 4th, the company announced that it did not continue with licensing in Brazil. Currently, the Prizes and Bets Secretariat of the Ministry of Treasury conducts this process.
Therefore, the club could not print the brand on its shirt. The new partner’s first appearance would take place in the opening round of the Catarinense Championship, scheduled for this Saturday, against Figueirense.
Therefore, the team “will take all possible legal and administrative measures in relation to Hope and Vbet to ensure their rights.”
Darthanhan Oliveira, president of the club, stated that he is already negotiating with another bookmaker and hopes to sign the new contract in January.
