Esporte Clube Vitória announced, last Monday (09), the termination of its contract with Betsat, the club’s main sponsor. The club’s president, Fábio Mota, made the statement during a press conference at Barradão, in Salvador.
Betsat, which had signed a partnership with the club in December 2023, invested R$7.2 million per year. The exit occurs amicably, with mutual recognition between the parties.
“We thank Betsat, which is a serious, reputable company that helped us. It fulfilled everything that was agreed. But there are new projects for it and for Vitória”, declared Mota.
On social media, the Bahian club recognized the importance of the bookmaker, responsible for the biggest sponsorship in Vitória’s history. “Since the start of the 2024 season, Betsat has been a great ally, fulfilling all its commitments and contributing significantly to winning the Bahia Championship and a place in next year’s Copa Sudamericana.”
“The board and fans are grateful for the partnership and wish the brand much success in its new commercial and strategic paths”, says the team’s message on social media.
Victory with new sponsor in sight
Despite the termination, Vitória already has plans for a new master sponsor. The new partnership, also with a company in the sports betting sector, should be revealed later this week.
“Probably Thursday or Friday, we will hold a new press conference announcing our new master sponsor. We are just finalizing the last details”, confirmed the director.
Therefore, fans await this announcement with great anticipation as master sponsorship plays a crucial role in the club’s revenue. Even more so as 2025 promises to be a year with many important competitions.
Vitória projects millionaire revenue in 2025
In addition to the change in master sponsorship, the president revealed another new feature: the renewal of the contract with Fatal Model. The escort website, a partner of the club since 2023, will continue to stamp its brand on the red and black uniform.
Fábio Mota highlighted that, adding the agreements already signed, the club hopes to raise around R$29 million in sponsorships for the 2025 season.
In other words, this amount will be essential to fund the team’s participation in important competitions, such as the Campeonato Baiano, Copa do Nordeste, Copa do Brasil, Copa Sul-Americana and Série A of the Brazilian Championship.
Strategic growth and market consolidation
The movement in the sponsorship market reinforces Vitória‘s strategy of strengthening its brand and revenue. The sports betting sector, which is growing exponentially in Brazil, continues to be a financial pillar for many clubs.
Therefore, with the definition of a new sponsor, Rubro-Negro must consolidate a prominent position both on and off the field, aiming for titles and solid financial management.
Therefore, this new stage marks a decisive moment for the club and its relationship with strategic partners, especially in a market as competitive as Brazilian football.
