The Ministry of Treasury included VaideBet in the list of bookmakers authorized to operate nationwide in Brazil until the end of the year. The addition was the result of a court order, increasing the number of betting platforms authorized in the country – three of them by court order.
Authorization details
On the same day of inclusion, the Bets Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPI) approved a request to request documents from BPX Bets Sports Group Ltd, operator of VaideBet.

Senator Izalci Lucas (PL-DF) highlighted verbatim: “BPX Bets Sports Group Ltda, represented by BPX Sports & Games Entretenimento Ltda (VaideBet, BetPix365 and ObaBet), a betting company involved in several money laundering investigations, is a central piece in the investigations of the CPI das Bets”.
The senator also recalled the termination of Corinthians’ contract with VaideBet in June, after the Civil Police began investigations into payments to an orange company in the mediation of the agreement. The contract, originally scheduled until 2026, would yield R$360 million to the club.
VaideBet History
The company has a CNPJ registered in Campina Grande, Paraíba, with share capital of R$30 million. This is the same amount charged by the Treasury as a grant to operate in the country. According to data from the Federal Revenue, the bookmaker has 8 partners.
Therefore, the platform had submitted a request to operate in the country on August 16, within the deadline defined by the Treasury. However, according to the ministry’s initial understanding, BPX Bets Sports Group LTDA had not met the requirements to obtain authorization.
VaideBet gained authorization to operate at state level in Rio de Janeiro. Therefore, the company filed an authorization request with the Rio de Janeiro State Lottery (Loterj) using its own CNPJ.
Furthermore, it was registered under the name VaideBet Apostas Ltda. In this context, the platform also integrates the BetPix365 and ObaBet brands, expanding its operations in the betting market.
