Palmeiras is in an advanced stage of negotiations to close a master sponsorship with the betting company, Sportingbet. The bookmaker will occupy the main space on the shirt from 2025.

This agreement, considered “very well underway” by the club, foresees a value of R$100 million per season over four years. The contract also includes bonus clauses for situations such as winning titles.

Furthermore, Sportingbet presented a significantly higher financial proposal compared to other interested companies. Since other offers reached a maximum of R$80 million per season.

This puts Sportingbet in an advantageous position, especially in a scenario where the club seeks to diversify revenue sources.

Companies besides Sportingbet to sponsor Palmeiras in 2025

Palmeiras is also in talks with the Chinese car manufacturer BYD, which is interested in other areas of the uniform, collaborating to reach the established goal of R$150 million annually in sponsorships.

Therefore, the idea is to have multiple partners who can occupy different spaces on the uniform, strengthening the club’s revenue.

It is worth remembering that Palmeiras will compete in the new version of the Club World Cup in 2025, in the United States.

Crefisa and FAM

As for the current contract with Crefisa and Faculdade das Américas (FAM), both companies belonging to the club‘s president, Leila Pereira, there has already been a decision that they will stop sponsoring Palmeiras after a long period.

The president declared that these brands must completely leave the shirt at the end of the current contract, which yields a fixed R$81 million to the club, reaching R$120 million with bonuses for achievements. Finally, this value, maintained since 2019, was renewed in 2021 without any adjustment.

Even though the contract allows Crefisa and FAM to match any competing offer to remain in the uniform, the expectation is that both companies will actually leave, making room for new sponsors.
