Kambi Group plc has signed an online sports betting agreement with Rei do Pitaco (RDP). Currently, it is one of the largest fantasy sports operators in Brazil.
Rei do Pitaco will leverage Kambi‘s technology to offer sports betting to its growing customer database. The Brazilian platform has already accumulated 13.6 million application downloads.
The multi-year agreement will allow Rei do Pitaco to leverage the new partner’s market-leading technology and services to launch a real-money online sportsbook in Brazil.
This type of bet is in the process of being regulated nationwide, but is expected to become one of the largest regulated markets in the world.
The Rei do Pitaco built his success in fantasy sports with a focus on football, which is, without a doubt, the most popular sport in Brazil. The operator’s mobile app has received 13.6 million downloads since it was launched in 2019.

Recently, Rei do Pitaco secured a venture capital investment to accelerate growth and boost its entry into sports betting.
The company also received investment from technology entrepreneur and FanDuel co-founder Nigel Eccles, who last year took on the role of president of the fantasy sports platform.
