BetMGM has launched its second advertising campaign for the UK market, featuring brand ambassador and comedian Chris Rock.
Thus, starting in October, the campaign shows athletes from various sports being encouraged by Rock and responding to his call to “entertain”. Sports featured in the ad include football, darts, horse racing and cricket, among others.
Working with London-based creative agency Recipe, the campaign will run across TV, radio and social platforms over the coming weeks. There is also a standalone ad to promote responsible gaming, as well as a casino offer edit.
“This new creative territory for ‘Chris Rockin’ Locker Room Speech’ builds on last year’s launch campaign, and it’s great to work with comedian Chris Rock again for the latest activation,” commented Dan Towse, Chief Brand Officer, LeoVegas Group , which operates BetMGM in the UK.
“A lot of work went into this and everyone, from the internal teams to Recipe and production company support, delivered an exceptional creative platform.”
In March, Sam Behar, Director of UK, Ireland and Sponsorship at LeoVegas, had already announced the launch of BetMGM in the UK and its partnership with Chris Rock’s company for its advertising campaigns.
BetMGM debuted its offerings in the UK in September last year, with the comedian taking part in an advertising campaign that launched the operator’s offerings into the market.
BetMGM in the Brazilian market
BetMGM recently announced a partnership with Grupo Globo to launch the BetMGM brand in the country in 2025. Therefore, this collaboration takes advantage of MGM’s expertise in gaming and betting, along with Globo’s vast reach, which reaches millions of Brazilians daily.
But, for now, the two companies are already working to obtain the necessary licenses, with launch expected in the first quarter of 2025.
