BetBoom, an international iGaming holding company, was officially included in the list of betting houses authorized by the Brazilian Ministry of Treasury. This announcement is part of a government initiative aimed at regulating and expanding the betting and gaming industry in one of Latin America’s fastest growing markets.
During the transition period, which will last until the end of 2024, BetBoom is authorized to accept bets alongside other selected betting platforms. The Ministry of Treasury will publish the final list of approved betting sites, authorized to operate from January 1, 2025, after this transition phase.
Official inclusion in the Ministry of Treasury list
BetBoom is among the 89 companies that received authorization from the Ministry of Treasury, out of a total of 185 requests sent by betting platforms. In the official list, BetBoom was designated with number 55, as published on the Ministry of Finance website.
This approval highlights BetBoom’s commitment to enhancing the gaming scene in Brazil with cutting-edge technology, a secure platform and a wide range of betting and gaming options.
Next steps for BetBoom
The transition period will allow BetBoom to operate until the end of this year, followed by the company’s full integration into the Brazilian market starting January 1, 2025. BetBoom will continue to enhance the gaming experience in Brazil, solidifying its position as a reference and the main choice in esports betting.
According to the company’s spokesperson, the betting company’s operations continue without interruption, and users’ funds are fully protected.
The company is focused on establishing closer ties with gaming enthusiasts in Brazil: “Certainly, Brazil is one of the key markets in Latin America for all online betting houses and casinos.
The BetBoom team submitted its license application in a timely manner, so we continue our operational activities at this time, and we look forward to delighting Brazilians with our product and marketing in 2025 and beyond.
For example, we are currently doing this in collaboration with streamer Baiano during the League of Legends World Championship. Enjoy your experience with us! Our platform remains completely secure for all your transactions!”
The approval is a testament to its compliance with the Ministry’s stringent regulatory requirements, including operational transparency, player protection policies and robust security measures.
