Unibet has been announced as the title sponsor of the World Snooker Tour’s British Open. The event, now titled ‘Unibet British Open’, will take place from 23rd to 29th September at the renowned Centaur Arena in Cheltenham.
Therefore, big names in snooker, such as Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, Mark Allen (world number one), Kyren Wilson (world champion) and Mark Williams (current British Open champion), will participate in the tournament.

The Unibet British Open will feature 128 players, and the qualifiers took place from July 31 to August 3 in Leicester. This way, the winners will join the top 16 in the finals at Cheltenham.
The tournament, first held in 1985 and broadcast on ITV, is famous for its random draw, which provides exciting clashes from the first round onwards.
