Last week, the Flabet betting site, developed by Pixbet – Flamengo‘s master sponsor – was launched for operational testing. But the website, aimed exclusively at Flamengo fans, was available for around 48 hours before being taken offline.
The Flabet platform offered an experience similar to that of conventional betting houses. However, they abruptly deactivated the site last Thursday (1st).
During the short period it was active, some users were able to make deposits, but were met with an unpleasant surprise when the site went offline.
Flabet offline
When Flabet was deactivated, it was replaced by a misspelled page that read: “Coming soon! The Rubo-Negra Nation [sic] will have its own house. Wait…”. The montage included images of Flamengo and Maracanã players and what would be the Flabet platform interface on a cell phone.
In any case, the Pixbet Group confirmed that a technical problem caused the site to be published. The company stated that the platform still needs approval from Flamengo’s Deliberative Council for its official launch.
Furthermore, Pixbet already has a license from Loterj (Rio de Janeiro Lottery) to operate in the state. Therefore, the platform will not launch any release without the necessary authorizations.
Upcoming games
While waiting for the board’s decision, Pixbet promises to fix the problems and launch Flabet as soon as it obtains all approvals.
While everything is resolved, see the red-black team’s next clashes in August. The team led by coach Tite will go through decisions in the Copa do Brasil and Libertadores this August.
