Manchester City has announced a new global partnership with Betway, an online betting and gaming brand. This collaboration is part of the club‘s pre-season tour of the United States.

Therefore, to celebrate the agreement, important figures from Manchester City and the Super Group will participate in the iconic NYSE bell-ringing ceremony.

Ferran Soriano, CEO of City Football Group, and Neal Menashe, CEO of Super Group, will be on hand for the event. Thus, this symbolic act marks the beginning of a significant partnership between the two organizations.

Details of the partnership between Betway and Manchester City

From the 2024/25 season, Betway will become the Official Global Betting Partner of Manchester City. This agreement is in addition to Betway‘s extensive sports sponsorship portfolio, which already includes teams from the Premier League, La Liga, NBA and others.

Ferran Soriano, CEO of City Football Group, said: “We are delighted to announce Betway as our Official Global Betting Partner today.”

“As a globally recognized brand, Betway has a strong pedigree and history of working with high-profile brands in the sports space and we are excited to work together throughout the partnership.”

Neal Menashe, CEO of Super Group, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to become the Official Global Betting Partner of Manchester City.

This agreement cements our place at the highest tier of Premier League partners, ensuring our Betway brand reaches fans in every corner of the globe.”

Responsible gaming

During the partnership, Manchester City and Betway will collaborate on a series of activations and create exclusive content opportunities. The brand will also be present in digital assets and in the English club’s stadium.

In addition, Betway will provide in-depth, industry-leading training on relevant codes of conduct relating to betting integrity and responsible gaming to all City players, coaches, managers and staff.

Ultimately, this complements the club’s ongoing work to support players and staff in this area.
