The race for master sponsorship of the Palmeiras shirt for 2025 has gained a new competitor, Betnacional. Thus, the betting company made an official proposal of R$160 million per year to Leila Pereira, current president of the club, to guarantee space on the chest and back of the shirt.
This offer includes a three-year contract and is divided into three main parts, according to Nicola’s Blog.
Details of the proposal to Palmeiras
Betnacional‘s offer is divided as follows:
- Fixed R$90 million per year: This amount is allocated directly to Palmeiras football.
- R$ 10 million for promotional actions: This amount aims at joint promotion between Palmeiras and Betnacional, allowing both brands to reach a wider and more engaged audience.
- R$60 million in performance bonuses: This part of the contract depends on the team’s performance on the field, with significant bonuses for important achievements.
Performance awards are detailed as follows:
- R$25 million for the Club World Cup title
- R$ 15 million for winning the Libertadores
- R$ 10 million for the Brasileirão
- R$7 million for the Brazilian Cup
- R$3 million for Paulistão
Competition for sponsorship
Until now, the biggest offer for sponsorship of Palmeiras came from Esportes da Sorte, which committed to paying R$75 million annually from January 2025. Today, the bookmaker is the master sponsor of the Verdão women’s team.
In comparison, Leila Pereira, with her companies FAM and Crefisa, currently invests R$81 million per season to maintain her brands on the team’s uniforms, including shirt, shorts and socks, with the possibility of reaching up to R$120 million annually with prizes.
The company presented a proposal letter last month, which indicates that Betnacional maintains a growing interest in associating its brand with Palmeiras. Thus, the São Paulo club is the current Brazilian champion and has already lifted the Paulistão cup this season.
