English club Crystal Palace has announced a new master sponsorship deal with Net88. Although neither the club nor the bookmaker revealed the values, in an official statement Crystal Palace classified it as a “record contract for a period of two years”.

Therefore, Cinch, a company in the automobile sector that stayed last season (2022/2023), leaves as master sponsor and Net88 enters (2024 to 2026).

Net88 is a brand on the rise

Thus, in addition to appearing on the main team’s shirts, the gambling brand will also appear:

  • Training uniform
  • Featured throughout Selhurst Park, the club’s stadium, on match days
  • Official club website

With this deal, Net88 hopes to expand its presence in the UK market, even with limited visibility.

Net88, operated by London-based Risq Capital and regulated by the UK Gambling Authority, is a white label company. This means that your operation is conducted by an entity that does not own the brand.

Barry Webber, Commercial Director at Crystal Palace, said: “We are delighted to announce this key partnership ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign.

We built on the excellent form of the men’s team at the end of last season, culminating in four players being called up to England’s Euro squad. That’s more than any other club in the Premier League.”

Webber also highlighted the importance of this partnership: “Net88 is a global online gaming platform for sports and sports betting fans. So we look forward to working with them at this exciting time.”

Net88, in turn, expressed delight in partnering with Crystal Palace: “Working with Crystal Palace will be great after a fantastic finish to last season. All of us at Net88 are very excited.”

But, from the end of the 2025/26 season, Premier League clubs will not be able to display any sponsorship on the front of the shirt that is linked to betting. The clubs decided after a vote on April 13, 2023.

John Textor and Crystal Palace

John Textor, known in Brazil for being the owner of Botafogo’s SAF (Sociedade Anônima de Futebol), is the owner of Crystal Palace. The businessman is currently one of the key figures in a CPI in Brazil regarding alleged manipulation of games in the Brazilian Championship.

The agreement between Crystal Palace and Net88 marks a new phase for both. For the club, it is an opportunity to boost its revenue and increase its visibility. For Net88, it represents a chance to consolidate its brand in the competitive UK market.
