DEBET, a betting company, recently secured the position of master sponsor of Wolverhampton, as announced by the English club.

This partnership represents a significant milestone for both parties, with the bookmaker ensuring its presence on the team’s kits and advertising spaces at the Molineux stadium for the next two seasons.

Alan Alger, DEBET spokesperson, commented: “This is a historic deal for DEBET and everyone is already excited for the start of next season and to see the brand on the shirts and throughout the stadium.

Wolves are a prestigious club and everyone is proud to be part of the biggest senior partnership deal the club has ever signed.”

Russell Jones, general manager of marketing and commercial growth at Wolves said: “We are delighted to announce this record-breaking partnership. We look forward to working over the next two seasons and growing the presence of both brands internationally.”

It is important to highlight that the agreement will be valid until 2026. At that time, Premier League clubs will be able to choose to voluntarily withdraw gaming and betting companies as master sponsors.

Thus, Wolverhampton ended the season occupying 14th place in the Premier League. Brazilian Matheus Cunha was the team’s top scorer with 14 goals. Korean Hwang Hee-chan was the team’s second top scorer with 13 goals.

While in the FA Cup the team reached the quarter finals, but ended up being eliminated after losing to Coventry City. In the League Cup, the club was eliminated by Ipswich Town in the third round.

Therefore, the expectation of the English club’s fans is that the new sponsorship will help improve results in the next sporting cycle.
