On Tuesday, April 16th, LOTERJ welcomed 1xBet, a company in the global betting industry, to conduct the Proof of Concept (PoC) aimed at operating sports betting and online games.
The meeting was attended by 1xBet’s national manager, Carlos Eduardo Ferreira, lawyer Alexandre Fistarol, and Russian coach Iurii Mishin.
Carlos Eduardo expressed 1xBet’s interest in operating in Brazil legally, highlighting that since the company became aware of the opening of the Accreditation process by LOTERJ, in Rio de Janeiro, it has shown interest in obtaining the necessary license.
“We are aware of the influence and importance of Rio de Janeiro, as well as LOTERJ, which provides us with the great opportunity to understand our client’s dynamics in a regulated environment, in order to act appropriately in the future.
I believe the main change will be consumer behavior, which will be driven by specific rules. We thank the LOTERJ team for their receptiveness and we hope to collaborate with everyone in the near future”, added Ferreira.
