A woman won R$1 million on Sunday (11), Mother’s Day, in the main prize of Trivale (formerly Trimania). The shocking thing is that the resident of Timbó, in the Itajaí Valley, and mother of two daughters, Izabel Cristina Papasidero Lopes was taken by surprise. A similar case occurred in the USA recently.
According to local media, she was home alone, preparing lunch, when she received the call informing her that she had won the prize. The São Paulo native, who has lived in the city for three years, said she was in shock when she received the call.
As Izabel’s husband revealed, he found it strange to arrive home, in the Nações neighborhood, and find his wife crying desperately. Initially, he imagined that it was something serious or even bad news, however, his wife soon revealed that she had won the Trivale.
According to her, she doesn’t usually participate in the draw very often, but last weekend she decided to try her luck and purchased the ticket through the app.
The couple has two daughters and announced that the money has already been allocated. She said that she will help buy an apartment for her daughter, who is getting married in São Paulo. In addition, she will also help her other daughter who lives in Timbó to buy her own home.
