The SiGMA Europe 2024 B2B Awards ceremony, held with the support of Betconstruct and hosted by Trudy Kerr and Mark Borg, took place on Monday evening (11) in a gala ceremony that celebrated excellence in the global gaming industry.
The award had a special meaning, marking the official celebration of the company’s 10th anniversary. The anniversary featured a special celebratory cake on stage, symbolically cut by CEO Emily Micallef and founder Eman Pulis.
Furthermore, the night brought a relevant announcement, informing new destinations and dates for SiGMA’s main events. SiGMA Central Europe will take place in Milan in November, while SiGMA Euro-Med (formerly Eastern Europe) will be held in Budapest in September.
Held in Hilton Malta’s Grandmaster Suite, the event welcomed almost 700 distinguished guests for an unforgettable night of awards, entertainment and philanthropy. In total, 26 awards were presented, each recognizing incredible achievements in the industry.
Illusionist Steve Carlin and French magician Moulla brought a touch of magic to the evening. Carlin enchanted the audience with a number that combined the art of illusion with the spirit of the casino, featuring a performance with poker chips and a fun live pickpocket act.
Moulla’s “Augmented Magic” mixed technology and illusion, transforming the SiGMA logo into a new version to celebrate the anniversary and surprising guests with an interactive trick that made a photo appear live on a guest’s cell phone.
The evening concluded with a charity auction, led by Rick Goddard, which raised €186,000 for charity. More than an industry gathering, the night was a celebration of community, generosity and achievement.
