The Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas 2022 took place today at the Venetian Las Vegas. The event delivered the betting industry’s most prestigious awards from strict rules that were established to determine a shortlist and subsequent winners.

The awards – presented by Gambling Insider and Gaming America – spanned 15 categories and awarded all of them successfully, covering the performance and actions of various vendors and operators across the Americas over the past 12 months.

Companies were shortlisted based on their merits. The full shortlist, as well as the reasons for each nomination, can be found in the official ‘Global Gaming Awards Shortlist’, which is available to read on the awards’ official website.

The winners were chosen by a panel of more than 100 C-level industry executives, including David Lopez, CEO of AGS; Marina Bogard, General Manager – North America of the Betsson Group; Justin Carter, SVP Regional Operations, PENN Entertainment; Mary Cheeks, President and General Manager of Jamul Casino.

The voting process was independently managed by KPMG at ‘Crown Dependencies’ to ensure a fair and transparent trial.

“After hosting the event in 2020 and with reduced capacity last year due to Covid-19 restrictions still in place, it was great to celebrate our industry in a full room with over 500 executives in attendance,” said Julian Perry, Editor-in-Chief. head of Gambling Insider and Gaming America.

“Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and congratulations to all those who were shortlisted. Today was to celebrate not just the winners but all the nominees,” he added.
