The Betting Management System (Sigap) received, this Wednesday (14), licensing requests from giants in the online betting industry. The global leader Bet365 (HS do Brasil Ltda) and Aposta Ganha, a reference in the national sports betting and online gaming market, forwarded all the documentation required by the Ministry of Treasury.
In addition to the two groups mentioned, two other requests were registered: Gamewiz Brasil and Brazino777 (Futuras Apostas Ltda). This first registration period will end next Tuesday (20), at the Prizes and Betting Secretariat.
According to the ministry’s forecast, companies that request licensing at this time will have priority, receiving responses by the end of the year. This is because specific legislation for the Brazilian market will be implemented on January 1, 2025.
